Tarpon’s Electric & Controls division is one of the largest electrical and instrumentation contractors in western Canada and provides a complete service solution from design and engineering to procurement, construction, installation and maintenance.

Construction and Maintenance – we provide construction and maintenance for upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas facilities through our Construction Services group.
Project Management – our centralized project management system provides an effective advantage when executing medium to large scale projects for all Electric & Controls services.
Engineering and Design – we draw on our in-house expertise to produce engineered construction drawing packages and execute electrical and instrumentation turnkey projects.
Modular Systems – we provide an effective and viable solution when handling client off-site construction projects through a collaboration of design, fabrication and project management.
Control Panels and Systems – we supply full turnkey engineered control system solutions, control panel design and fabrication, PLC/DCS/HMI integration, and on-site commissioning services for all automation requirements. Tarpon is adept in a wide variety of control systems platforms including SIL rated safety systems for many industries worldwide.
SCADA and Telecommunications – we offer our clients the flexibility to specify any EFM/RTU in a wide range of configurations. Using client preferred devices, we are able to integrate gas/oil measurement, telemetry and control to any existing host SCADA system.
Measurement and Metering – we deliver calibration and support services to ensure accurate and cost effective gas and liquid measurement using the most up-to-date equipment and procedures.
Burner Management Systems and Combustion Optimization – we provide natural draft direct fired heater controls, equipment upgrades and preventative maintenance by highly trained staff throughout our operational areas.
By offering comprehensive 24/7/365 service and maintenance, Tarpon is dedicated to helping clients build, optimize and maintain their systems. Our network of branches across North America offer a wide range of field services for the installation, on-going maintenance, calibration, programming and troubleshooting of electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
