Tarpon is thrilled to become an ‘Electrical Safety Champion’ as awarded by Electrical Business (EB) Magazine. EB recognizes Canadian companies and individuals who are passionate about promoting the health and safety of Canadian electrical workers. Here are our top 3 principles that have formed our quality process:
1) Together – we are better.
No one person knows it all, but collectively there is nothing we cannot accomplish; we are only as good as the team that supports us. Communication amongst our team is essential to our success.
2) 3 P’s – Patience, Participation and Perseverance!
At Tarpon, we have built our QA/QC electrical program on past successes – and failures. We work hard to strengthen areas requiring more focus and re-communicate revisions throughout our workforce. The result is often a lower injury rate, more knowledgeable tradesmen and improved training to ensure continual improvement.
3) See the big picture.
It’s about working hard and working smart. We continually strive to foster a positive attitude towards quality. This is possible by encouraging input from all levels of the organization – everyone is an important part of the solution. We all thrive on a challenge.
