Tarpon Achieves Recognition for Outstanding Safety Performance

At Tarpon Energy Services, building and maintaining a safety culture while engaging in safe work practices is of utmost importance. With dedicated support from Tarpon’s leadership team, our employees are continuously striving to improve our Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) programs by: applying comprehensive safety policies and procedures in our day-to-day operations, partaking in routine safety meetings and various safety initiatives, and participating in ongoing training programs. “Tarpon’s most valuable asset is our people and we take pride in our health and safety responsibilities as an organization,” said John Henry, President & CEO. “Our employees are committed to embracing safety as a way of life and our primary goal is to ensure they arrive home safely at the end of each day.”

Recently, Tarpon has achieved recognition for ongoing improvement in our Certificate of Recognition and Partners in Injury Reduction programs. “We have greatly reduced our incidents across the organization and recently celebrated a major milestone – our Electric & Controls division has achieved over one million man-hours without a lost time incident,” said Henry. “Tarpon’s Structures division has also made remarkable strides in regards to its safety program and has received four significant Safety Leadership awards from a key client for maintaining zero lost time injuries.”

“During the past year, we continued to significantly improve our safety performance, resulting in our best safety record in the history of Tarpon. As a team, we will endeavour to further improve all aspects of our HSE program,” said Henry. “As a best-in-class energy services provider, our clients have come to expect unparalleled quality and safety performance and together we will deliver on their expectations.”
