Tarpon Announces Changes to Board of Directors

Mr. Rod Graham has resigned from Tarpon Energy Services Ltd.’s Board of Directors, effective Friday, October 1, 2010. He recently accepted the role of President & CEO with ZCL Composites, a company he joined in the capacity of Director in 2002. The high demands of his new role make it extremely difficult for him to continue to commit the necessary time and attention to Tarpon’s Board.

Tarpon has greatly benefited from his expertise and leadership for the past five years. Mr. Graham was actively involved with the Board as Audit Committee Chairman, a member of the Governance and Compensation Committee and Chairman of the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Committee.

Commenting on his departure, Mr. Graham said, “I have been fortunate to work with a great team at Tarpon and I am proud of the Company’s accomplishments. I am confident that the Company will grow and prosper as the market continues to improve and I wish everyone all the best.”

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Terry Freeman, Managing Director of Northern Plains Capital Ltd. has joined Tarpon’s Board of Directors. Mr. Freeman has been with Northern Plains Capital Ltd. since April 2007 and previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer with Flint Energy Services Ltd. for nine years. Prior to Flint Energy Services Ltd., he was the Vice President of Finance and Administration of the HMW Construction Group of Companies for six years. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Flint Energy Services Ltd., McCoy Corporation and Parelite Investments Corp. Mr. Freeman is a Chartered Accountant and a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors, Directors Education Program.

Mr. Freeman brings to Tarpon an extensive background in finance, construction and maintenance services. “His perspective and guidance will be a valuable addition,” said John Henry, President & CEO of Tarpon Energy Services Ltd. “I would like to welcome Mr. Freeman to Tarpon’s Board of Directors and also thank Mr. Graham for his significant contributions to Tarpon.”
