A strong safety culture, innovative safety initiatives and impressive safety record, are just some of the reasons why Tarpon won silver in the oil and gas category of Canada’s Safest Employers Award on October 28, 2015.
“Safety has always been the primary goal at Tarpon, specifically ensuring everyone arrives home safely at the end of each day,” said Larry Warnock, director, HSE. “Tarpon employees and management work together to uphold our commitments and achieve that goal every day. It as honour to once again be recognized as one of Canada’s Safest Employers and reinforces our dedication to continue to be an employer of choice.”
Canada’s Safest Employers Award is held to recognize employers that have demonstrated a commitment to promoting and maintaining a culture of safety in their organization and in the communities in which they operate.
