Developed through global consensus, they help to break down barriers to international trade.
Benefits of the ISO 9001:2008 certification include consistency of quality and service, on-time delivery, output through well-defined and documented procedures, management control and reporting, and a decrease in defect rates. “Over the past year we have aligned our management systems and processes with ISO 9001:2008 standards to deliver a quality product and to establish a culture of continual improvement,” said JF Gratton, general manager, Structures. “This will translate into increased customer satisfaction and greater efficiency within our organization.”
