Tarpon Successfully Retains the Mark of Excellence

Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies continues to be the mark of excellence for Canadian-owned and managed companies with revenues over $10 million. Since the launch of the program in 1993, hundreds of entrepreneurial companies have competed for this designation in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates their management skills and practices.

“Tarpon has been a winner of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies program since 2006 and I am proud to announce that we have requalified in 2011 to maintain our prominent status as a Best Managed company,” said John Henry, President & CEO, Tarpon Energy Services Ltd. “A sincere thank you to our employees and clients once again for helping us earn this prestigious distinction for outstanding business achievement. This award is a reflection of the passion, skill and dedication of our workforce.”

The financial results achieved in 2011 continue to demonstrate the strong recovery Tarpon has enjoyed since the downturn and the excellent operating base it has developed to fuel future growth and prosperity. “Our company is well positioned to thrive in our ever evolving markets and we look forward to carrying this momentum into 2012,” said Henry. “We have been able to successfully retain our Best Managed status year-over-year by creating sustainable growth.”

“We would like to congratulate Tarpon and its entire workforce,” said John Hughes, Partner, Private Company Services, Deloitte. “Achieving Canada’s highest level of Canadian business excellence takes a united effort and we are privileged to acknowledge such a strong team.”
